The "Search
Results" page displays a list of hotels based on the search criteria
you entered (for example, destination, check-in date, and so on).
From the "Search Results" page you may:
Changing your search criteria
If you are not satisfied with your search results, you can change
or add to your search criteria to see a different set of results.
For example, if a list of properties includes motels, hotels, cabins,
and resorts, yet you are only interested in resorts, you can ask
to see resorts only. You can also search by travel dates, price
range, and amenities, or begin a new search.
To change your search criteria, choose one of the following options
under "Search Options." Options change depending on the type of
search you perform.
- Enter travel dates (at left) -
Enter your check-in date and number of nights to find available
hotels. Go to Checking
availability for more
information.
- Change travel dates (at left) - Change
the check-in date and number of nights you previously entered.
- Refine search - Allows you to narrow
your search by requesting personal preferences and travel dates.
You can request property type, price range, and/or specific
amenities and services. Keep in mind that the more criteria
you enter, the fewer results you'll receive.
Note: If you search a large metropolitan area using Quick
Search, choosing "Refine search" will take you to a page that
shows all districts in the area. From here you can select a
location to refine your search or choose the "Add other search
criteria" option to request preferences and travel dates.
- Change preferences - Allows you to change
the preferences you selected using the "Refine search" or "Add
other search criteria" option.
- View surrounding area - Displays the
greater area in which your destination is located, or a list
of additional properties.
- Begin new search - Choose this option
to begin a completely new search. Any search criteria previously
entered will not be retained. This option is available only
when using Quick Search.
Sorting a list of hotels
When you enter your check-in date, properties with available rooms
will be at the top of the list. We also show non-available properties
so you can see a complete list of our properties in a particular
area. If preferred, you can sort a list by availability, property
name, rate, property type, or packages (where available) by clicking
the column heading. Click the arrow to change the order (ascending
or descending).
